Early childhood education
Early childhood education services are located at Iisalmi Town Hall at Pohjolankatu 14. Early childhood education service counsellors are responsible for customer service from the customer’s first contact until a care place is granted. The service counsellor cooperates closely with the supervisors of the units in both municipal and private early childhood education.
In early childhood education, a plan for the child’s early childhood education and pre-school education is prepared for the child together with the parents/guardians, the implementation of which is monitored and reviewed with the parents/guardians at least once a year.
Mission of early childhood education: We offer high-quality early childhood education that values the uniqueness of childhood. Our activities are based on the physical, mental and social safety and well-being of children and on cooperation with families. Being positive is a resource in our early childhood education.
