You can also visit In To Finland information point in Kamppi, Helsinki. The information point is a joint effort of The Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela) and the Tax Office, and offers advice for immigrants who have questions regarding taxation or social security. You can get your tax card or the tax number required in the construction business from the info point. Foreign workers who have temporary employment in Finland can also get a Finnish personal ID from the info point, which means they don't need another visit to the local register office.
